Just look out the Damn window and that’s what the Hell it is doing!!!!!
At work, sitting at a desk, staring at a PC and out a window ablaze with glorious sunshine, so what prompts me here?
- Meteorologists
- Weather Prognosticators
- Weathermen (PC term: Weatherperson)
A subject worthy of discussion in my mind because…let me get to that in a moment.
The last time your accountant made a big flub on your tax return did you retain his/her services the following tax season?
Last June when your lawn service over fertilized and your lawn burnt to a crisp, was your response “lovely shade of brown, see ya next month”?
When your tailor hemmed your $2,000.00 Dior suit and turned it into something akin to Buster Brown’s sailor short set, did you recommend them to all your friends and family?
These are often single one time occurrences. Non intentional happenings. Nothing so big as to throw these people out in the cold. Yet we do, without even a 2nd thought!!!
“Out in the cold”, interesting phrase, one which brings me back to
- Meteorologists
- Weather Prognosticators
- Weathermen (PC term: Weatherperson)
FYI, today’s forecast, at least prior to me leaving for work, was
- COLD, heavens do not forget a coat!!!!
- CLOUDY,CLOUDY, CLOUDY no chance for sun, Vampires rejoice!!!
My little glass tube with mercury filling is currently reading 50ish, certainly not Miami in August but this is Pittsburgh, first week of April, we are dusting off the sunscreen and picking up the swimsuits from the cleaners!!!!
As for rejoicing Vampires, well any vamp worth his or her weight in salt woulda instantaneously combusted as the CLOUDY,CLOUDY,CLOUDY was being spoken.
So all I ask is “guys/girls” can we get it right a little more frequently than the lawn guy/girl gets it wrong????
There has only been and only ever will be one “weatherperson” I completely trust and she was my dear departed “Granny”, yes we called her “Granny”! Ask “Granny” what the weather was to be and invariably her response was…
“Just look out the Damn window and that’s what the Hell it is doing!!!!!”
Miss ya granny bear!!!!
